Description
Creamy Greek yoghurt ranch dip with fresh chives and dill, bright, herby, and properly “ranch” without mayo. Make-ahead friendly and easy to loosen into a dressing.
Ingredients
1 cup (250 g) high protein Greek yoghurt, thick
2 tablespoons (6 g) fresh chives, finely chopped
1 tablespoon (3 g) fresh dill, finely chopped
1/2 garlic clove, crushed (or 1 teaspoon (3 g) garlic powder)
1 tablespoon (15 ml) lemon juice
salt, to taste
black pepper, to taste
Optional
1 to 3 teaspoons (5 to 15 ml) water, to loosen into a dressing
Instructions
- Stir: Mix yoghurt, chives, dill, garlic, and lemon juice until smooth.
- Rest: Rest 10 minutes (or overnight) until the flavour settles and tastes more “ranch”.
- Season: Add salt and pepper, then stir again until well mixed.
- Serve: Serve as a dip, or stir in water a little at a time until pourable for dressing.
